Organic Assam

Named for the Eastern Indian State, this tea is a quintessential black tea! It steeps to give a deep red liquor and boasts a full body brew with malty and earthy tasting notes.

This single origin tea is graded TGFOP, or Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe, indicating high quality and containing a high proportion of tip leaves.

Malty, Earthy, Astringent, Brisk, Full Bodied

Brew Instructions

Steep 1.5 tsp or 2.5g of tea in 12oz of 195°F/90°C water for 5-7 minutes.
